A facial is a skincare treatment designed to improve the overall appearance and health of the skin. These are designed to help treat hydration, acne, pigmentation, aging and more. 

All you need to do is select the time that you would like to spend with me (75, 60 or 25 min). 
* After cleansing, we will look at your skin under the light. Depending on what your skin looks like, how it feels, and what you’d like to focus on will help guide us to customize all steps.

I utilize several different product lines that work well with all skin types. When we consult, we will go over what you’d like to focus on during your treatment. Common answers from clients are hydration, acne, age spots, fine lines/wrinkles, etc.

We will go over your intake form first. I’ll step out while you change into a robe and get onto the table. After the first cleanse, we examine your skin and pick the rest of the steps. Most facials (60-75 minutes) include a double cleanse, exfoliation, mask, red LED light and all finishing products while we also include hot towel feet wraps, warming hand mitts and massage on the neck and scalp. It’s a head to toe heavenly experience each and every time.

* After the facial, we will discuss what we did in the facial, what products are recommended to help your skin at home, and what would be good for your next appointment. 

Discontinue all active products 5-7 days prior to your appointment. 

The day of your appointment, just come as you are! We will start with cleanse to remove makeup, etc. 

Most facials include everything for the face and maybe just a little arm massage. Since every product has to sit on the skin, we use that time to relax you further and add all of the extras. It is unlike any other facial I have experienced and am excited to see you and help you with your skin!

It is recommended that you drink extra water, avoid sun, wear SPF, and change your pillow case. 

* It’s best to wait 3-5 days before exfoliating or starting your active products again.

This is a normal side effect where the exfoliation step continues working on the outermost layers of the skin. The dryness is temporary. You may want to use a golden nugget or sheet mask. Reach out to Essential Esthetics for suggestions or to purchase these products. 

It is recommended to receive a facial on a regular basis. I am able to see facial clients every 8-12 weeks. It is imperative that you use professional homecare to help you reach your skin care goals. 80% of results come from home care and 20% come from spa treatments. You can think of this like going to the gym AND working with a trainer.

Yes! There are 2 different types of chemical peels offered at Essential Esthetics by Zoey; one that you do not flake/peel (Elevate or Express) and one where you can flake/peel (not available for online booking). Remember that peeling is a side effect of the peel and not necessary for you to experience benefits. 

* Microneedling and the Get Glowing peel (peeling peel) are available for clients that have had facials with Essential Esthetics by Zoey and meet requirements. 

I offer Modern Booking, which means that many appointments are available same week (and sometimes same day.)
