A minimum of 2 weeks growth post shaving is required, but 3 is preferred. We are aiming for the length of a grain of rice! And when in doubt, grow it out!

I use a combination of high quality hard and soft (strip) waxes in order to achieve the smoothest point possible.

When I combine the best waxes with this special technique, you experience less pain and side effects.

I do not use sugar wax, as I've found it to be more painful. Regular sugaring clients that have made an appointment with us have stated that our methodology is less painful for them than waxing with their previous sugarists.

Make sure that your hair is the correct length (about ¼ inch long). Shower and exfoliate the morning of your appointment. Wear clean cotton underwear and loose fitting clothes to your appointment. That day, avoid caffeine and stimulants.

My recommendation is to book 1-2 days prior to your special occasion (wedding, anniversary, vacation, etc.)

Because you’ve filled out form before your appointment, there is no need to arrive early. 

* Text upon arrival and wait for the text letting you know the door has been unlocked.

This appointment is super quick, but it’s important to remember to breathe. Tell yourself it’ll be over before you know it, and it will!

* Avoiding caffeine and other stimulants will help minimize pain. And Tylenol is also a popular choice if you are worried.

Yes! Tampon, cup or disc is recommended. (It’s more common than you think, so don’t be shy.) 

* If you choose to reschedule past 48 hours, cancellation fees will apply. 

Remember that the best treatment for in-growns is prevention.

* I have a variety of aftercare products available for purchase at your appointment. Every client has unique needs, so don’t worry about buying them ahead of time.

very hair on the body goes through a growing, resting and falling out phase. Once a hair is removed, there is another hair behind it to come in (think of baby teeth and adult teeth.)

However, each hair is in a different part of that cycle (you don’t lose all of your eyelashes at the same time.

Hairs will slowly return after waxing randomly and will continue growing in until your next wax. 

Our goal is to get you to the point of 2 weeks of smooth and hairless. You do this with consistent and regular waxes. (My recommendation is waxing every 4 weeks unless otherwise indicated.)

I recommend avoiding the 3 S’s for 24 hours after your wax appointment:

Sunning - meaning tanning, saunas, hot tubs, etc. Anything hot the first day won’t feel great.

Sweat - the follicle is open for about 24 hours and we don’t want anything to get inside.

Sex - heat, friction, etc. are all the things that I recommend avoiding for 24 hours.
