Massage Techniques Used in Rejuvenate Facial

Do you know what I love? I LOVE making each experience for you the very best. When I see that something I offer isn’t knocking your socks off, I pivot and search for the perfect thing that will.

Which is why The Rejuvenate Facial was introduced in January. This facial includes all of the things that you love at Essential Esthetics by Zoey in Pocatello, Idaho. Double cleanse, exfoliation, masking and all of the finishing products for the skin. Plus of course, hot towels on the feet, lower leg massage, warming hand mitts, hand and arm massage, neck, scalp … the works!

PLUS, the Rejuvenate Facial includes a specialty massage technique. You choose: Cryosticks, Gua Sha Massage, Facial Cupping or Fresh Pearl Massage.

Here is a brief introduction to each type of deluxe massage technique.

Cryosticks

Cryosticks are used to calm down and soothe inflammed, irritated and red skin. In addition to its soothing properties, the application of cold to the skin has a draining, decongestant, and firming effect. The cold sensation is picked up by receptors in the skin, causing a “goose bump” phenomenon, which stimulates nerve cells in the skin and has a tightening effect on the epidermis.

Gua Sha Massage

This sculpting massage is particularly effective at relieving facial tension and stress. Gua Sha is particularly helpful for lymphatic drainage in our face because we don't move the muscles in our face all that much. The intentional movements of this facial massage will help move the lymph through the system, leaving you with a glow and sculpted appearance.

Facial Cupping

This gentle and invigorating massage has many benefits to the skin and feels SO good!

  • Brightens & Strengthens Your Skin

  • Stimulates Cells Responsible For Collagen Reduction

  • Minimizes the Appearance of Fine Lines & Wrinkles

  • Decreases ‘Puffiness’

  • Plumps Lips

Fresh Pearl Massage

The newest specialty massage technique in the treatment room is the fresh pearl massage by GM Collin. I love this one and know you will too. This massage can be focused on relaxing or stimulating (or my favorite - a little of both!) The main benefits are to increase circulation and promote relaxation.

Have you experienced every type of facial massage? What is your favorite?

Don’t forget to

Breathe. Let Go. Relax.
